Date/Time
Thu Jun 23, 2022 at 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Description

This workshop is intended to provide a basic overview of Data Management Plans (DMPs), a tool often used to lay a foundation for good research data management practices through the life of a research project and beyond. This workshop will cover a basic overview of the components of a typical data management plan and share resources available to support researchers and their teams to get started.

Starting later this year, DMPs may be required for certain Tri-Agency opportunities. More information about Tri-Agency requirements will be available as these funding opportunity details are released later in 2022 and 2023.  This workshop will not address the specific Tri-Agency requirements for data management plans, as the details have not yet been released.

Speakers:

Dylanne Dearborn, Research Data Management Coordinator, University of Toronto Libraries.
