About our speakers

Donna Kidwell, Acting CIO, U of T
Donna is an accomplished information technology leader with 18 years of experience in large R1 public institutions, including a pivotal role at Arizona State University as Deputy CIO and Chief Information Security and Digital Trust Officer. She is known for driving innovative information security initiatives and fostering a positive organizational culture. Donna's expertise in technology commercialization and her executive sponsorship of the Trusted Learner Network position her to significantly advance U of T's mission.

Kate Giovacchini, Executive Director Engineering, Office of the CIO, Arizona State University
Kate is a higher education technology leader who believes in the transformative power of education. With nearly a decade of experience working at ASU, she has worked in online education technology, business intelligence, ERP delivery and large initiative execution. For the past five years, Kate has focused on digital credentials, working on solutions for learners that utilize distributed ledger technologies. She leads the Trusted Learner Network and ASU Pocket, an initiative set designed to deliver technologies to revolutionize digital credentials and the trusted relationships to make them valuable.
