NSERC Discovery Grant: Strategies for Success - Sept. 16, 2025

The Centre for Research & Innovation Support, in collaboration with the Research Services Office, is hosting a webinar on the upcoming 2025 Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Discovery Grant program for the University of Toronto community. 

This session will feature a faculty panel of recent members of the Discovery Evaluation Committees and/or successful Discovery Grant applicants. Panelists will share their experiences participating on the evaluation committee and tips for writing a strong proposal. 

After this session, attendees will have a better understanding of the following: 

• how NSERC Evaluation Committees adjudicate Discovery Grant applications; 
• strategies for writing stronger proposals; and
• resources available to applicants.
