Event Type:
Workshop/Seminar
Unit
ArtSci Academic Operations
Date/Time
Tue Aug 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Description

This in-person session will provide an overview of content organization and communication tools in Quercus followed by a working session for instructors to set up their home page, modules, and files structure in Quercus. We will also cover the tools for communicating with students both in and out of Quercus. We encourage instructors to have some of their content available in their OneDrive or other cloud storage to easily upload or link to resources and to practice content sharing in this guided workshop. Our team will work with groups and individuals to ensure instructors leave this guided session with an organizational structure in their Quercus course shell allowing them to finalize their course setup as they prepare for the Fall term. Instructors may wish to bring their own laptops, but computers will be available in the lab.

This in-person event is capped at 20 people, and we may open a second session if there is interest. If the session is full, please still register to join the waitlist.

Additional Information

Please note: This is an in-person session in a computer lab. Please feel free to bring your own laptop, or you can use a lab computer.
