Join the Research Services Office for a webinar addressing the Connaught Community Partnerships Research Program.

About the Connaught Community Partnerships Research Program:

This initiative is intended to help create new collaborative research partnerships, or nurture early-stage partnerships, between the University and community partners, fostering access to each other’s unique knowledge, expertise and capabilities on issues of shared interest that, over time, may evolve into more established relationships that will attract external funding through, for example, the SSHRC Partnerships Grant program.

Session Details:

This webinar will include an overview of the CPRP by the Connaught team. We will then have a panel discussion lead by CPRP funded teams, where panelists will address:

  • How their partnership was formed
  • How their partnership engages and benefits the partners
  • Intended outcomes and impacts of the partnership
  • How has the partnership evolved (progress & challenges, future directions)
  • Advice for peers on developing partnership-based research programs and preparing a compelling CPRP proposal

Attendees will also have an opportunity for Q&A.

Panel Speakers:

  • Farzaneh Hemmasi, Faculty of Music
  • Lori Ross, Dalla Lana School of Public Health
  • Pamela Klassen, Department of Religion, Faculty of Arts and Science
  • Krista Barclay, Department of Religion, Faculty of Arts and Science
